Jack takes 2nd at Mersey Valley

Talented Brisbane rider, Jack Anderson, riding for Team Budget Forklift, took second place overall at the Tour of Mersey Valley in Tasmania today.   The U23 Queensland Time Trial champion started the race with a dominating ride in his favourate event, the Individual Time Trial.  However, some hard racing around Cradle Mountain over the following two road stages saw Jack surrender his race lead to some impressive rides by Tim Roe (Savings and Loans) and Dylan Newell (Praties).

Praties rider Dylan Newell won the race.

BikeKing Coach Cam Hughes competed in the event and finished strongly in the top end of the race.  Cam will return home in time for the bikeKing bRunch ride on Sunday 19 Apr 09.
