Brisbane boys dominate in the US

Brisbane's own seasoned pro, Ben Day of the Fly V Australia p/b Successful Living Team, has won the San Dimas stage race in the USA (March 20-22, 2009).  Ben led the 3 stage race from start to finish to capture an impressive win against some the best riders in the US Continental Circuit.

Ben Day, based in the US, joined the Fly V Australia p/b Successful Living Team after his former team, Toyota United folded at the end of 2008.  Ben has been a pro since 1999 and has raced all round the world and has also represented Australia at the World Championships,  Olympics and Commonwealth Games.  Ben won the Australian Individual Time Trial Championship in 2003.  His personal website is at www.ben-day.com.

During the off season, Ben Day can often be seen having a post ride coffee at bikeKing's favourate coffee spot, Express Garage at Southbank.

Ben's team mate, Jonothan Cantwell from the Gold Coast finished off a success full tour for the Fly V Australia p/b Successful Living Team by winning the final stage to the race.
